April 2016 news

Patrick & Elle Macdonald  have reported to us their recent success with Newbury Za’im (River Oak Impact x Newbury Zalima) at his first endurance rides. He completed 2x20km rides in 4hrs 15 mins  av heart rate  40,  followed by a 40km ride in 3hrs 27mins av heart rate of 39.

Za’im covered the rough terrain at Burraga easily. He stands about 14.3-15hh & as Patrick is a large 6′ + person,  Za’im  is showing signs of being a top endurance prospect.

He is out of a  Newbury Zalima(Cherox Zalam x Arabian Park Egyptian Queen) a sister to our Shahzada & Heavyweight Tom Quilty winner Newbury Shah Zaam. Which shows once again how much breeding counts.

Due to family commitments Patrick & Elle have to sell this up & coming gelding. So if interested let us know.

New Arabian Pony Colt  at Newbury Park Arabian and Ponies

After much searching & deliberation, we have finally been able to source an Arabian Pony colt to put over Newbury Touchdown’s pony mares.

Looking everywhere but our own backyard, our granddaughter using our old pony bloodlines of Newbury Silver Reign (Royaljan x Dwyfor Dixie)  & Newbury Samara (Newbury Gay Lady – Ralvon Pilgrimx Yalgogrin Bellbird) & bred to Cherox Zalam (Arabian Park Egyptian Magnetic), who is now in our granddaughters care, has come up with this gorgeous high % 87.597 Arabian Pony Colt.

We feel he will breed beautifully with the mares we have in mind for him.
